Well... Went to a kids birthday party last weekend at the mall. Came outside to find someone broke into my yukon and stolet my pioneer double din. Broke the lid off my console, and jacked up my ignition. Not entirely sure how they got in though.

Looks like the tried to pop the door lock out but didn't work cause it's only pushed in at the bottom about 1/8th" top of lock still fine. Door handle is fine.

So today I get to fix the ignition. New double din ordered, and already fixed the console.
I put those Jimmy jamerz, o whatever they're called, on all 4 doors. IMAG1663.jpg

Yea I'm gonna put them on the front. Also have a nice 2 way paging alarm to put in. Heck that's been sitting in a cabinet in my garage for 2 years lol. Just haven't felt like spending the time to wire it all up.

Fixed the stupid rear blend door and actuator. The door broke so I epoxied it back together. The actuator had too much buildup of the petroleum jelly on the contacts so I cleaned them off. Getting hot here in California and needed the rear A/C working!

Just bought a set of DL3 mirrors, and found the 2002 Esky power fold dash switch for $28!

Now hopefully everything works on everything (everything but the power fold was tested by the seller).

New project incoming!

I plan on taking the 2002 Esky switch out of its trim piece, and tap the points where the stock button connects to and run some wires for a "remote switch" on one of the blanks by the radio.

Looks like you can raise it up 1/2" and it will be level. That should make it ride better, get the jounce stops a little relief, and you won't need an alignment. That's what I would do anyway.
Ok, guess that's the plan then. I don't need that special tool do I? I can just use a regular ratchet?
