People piss me off! This is why I try to find an end spot every time we go anywhere. Well, this side was not against the curb while we were at the mall today... Yes it's extremely dirty, been raining non stop, but seriously!

So I tried to seafoam the intake on my Yukon XL like I've done on a couple of other trucks I've had.

Normally once I start spraying the seafoam in there, and get enough where it bogs the engine down a little bit, I'll start getting some smoke out tail pipe, it didn't seem to matter how much I sprayed into the TB. It would barely bog, and it never smoked.

So after about fifteen minutes of messing with it, I decided to do some cleaning instead.

I used STP Son of a gun and got some parts nice and shiny.

I wanted to pull off the "Vortec" cover to clean it better, but I discovered the brass bushing just spins in its hole, so no dice.

I went around to the back of the truck, and tested out how this stuff would on the vent covers.

At Firestone again. Asked to have it put back and they can't even tell me what z height or trim height is. Not feeling very confident. We shall see. Stupid me for ever going here in the first place, but 10 years ago when I had to get new tires for it, I went here and also got the lifetime alignment. So only costs me time to see if they can get it right. I'm running out of time.... And patience.

But the ride hide isn't the root of my steering woes. I've been fighting this for a long time. Only part that isn't new on the front end in the last two years is the idler arm bracket and steering gear box. About to give up. A reputable frame and alignment shop in Dallas told me it was all ball joint related. I put all four new on by myself last month and it didn't change a thing. Just been using Firestone to align it after each new part goes on. Ugh.
Can't begin to tell u how much I will NEVER use Firestone. They could give me free parts and labor and I wouldn't touch it. Hopefully u can get it fixed. I would just back the bolts out a little. U may be able to still see the clean threads and this will get u back in the ballpark, I wouldn't trust them to figure it out. I hit my torsion bolts with some red paint as a reference point when I pulled my lower control arms.
