All he said was ABS. He gave a note to my dad with the prices on it, and it only said ABS. Like I said, I plan on getting a second opinion on it. Getting it rebuilt might be a possibility, but I can't have her down for that long, unfortunately. It's not a good situation, no matter which way you slice it.

You can drive without the ABS module. I sent my daughters in and like they told me, it doesn't hurt the vehicle to not have the module and the ABS isn't working anyway so what's the difference. You can check with them but I'm pretty sure you can drive the hoe without the ABS module without any problem.

I was bored, and went out at 2am to scrap the remains of the bumper stickers off, and polish the rear bumper on the Yukon XL.

It looks like they tried to use steel wool to remove the circular one. I just used my razor scraper and some goo-gone and they came off without any fuss.

Looks like I need to get another bumper sticker to put on this side, or just put the one I got over this spot.

Well in that case, that's a definite possibility. I assumed you couldn't drive without it. We'll see what the other mechanic says today.

Dude, you can take your module off and the the abs fuse out and still drive it no problem. I used this guy and it took him maybe 2-3 days to get it back to me and it works perfectly now.
