It is in fact a drain plug and they do come stock. My '04 has a drain plug in the tram pan as well.

How long have you had it dipped? It started on its own or did you have a hand it in?

Back a few pages I explained what what I was doing with some pics. 2 years dipped with no issues. Just decided on taking it off for a change of look.

Yeah I saw that after I posted this, just gotta change things up every now and again. I use to put on and take off my roof rack to make a simple change.
