I also got a new Flowmaster Super 10 put on for $150. I just went to see my options, but the guy was able to fit me in and put it on in about an hour. Came home to get a good video and set off the alarm on the '96.
That sounds really good! I didn't think it was that loud to set your alarm off. Lol
been eyeballing these HD conversions, these guys are about 4.5hrs away from me. Still looking locally and just need the HD hood done up for my Yuk

That would be great if you could grab that. Good prices too, if everything was in good shape. Have you ever priced out those parts new on Amazon? Bumper cap might be a little cheaper. Great find.

So after I made my last reply, I noticed that your truck as auto climate control.
I know yours is an '02, and mine is an '00.
When did they introduce the automatic setup (and I wonder if I can retrofit mine)?

Good question. I feel like it would need an extra computer or bit of code to work right, wouldn't it?

The scene is extremely large in Texas for anything GM, they quoted me $300 for an HD hood cut for Yukon just need paint, in my case a vinyl wrap...but I have to drive 5 hrs to get it is the issue. Travelling in Texas is like driving across several states in other parts of the country except for Alaska

It also depends where you're driving. The hill country is a much different drive than west Texas.

I would be wary of what brand it is. Since GM discontinued them there are some pretty bad aftermarket ones out there that are poorly made. Ask for the brand name and get it in writing.
They have hundreds of followers in the valley and Houston area. Both strong GM aftermarket circles.
