Now I just need to do the Tahoe on the rear hatch and remove the Chevrolet. Too much of a pita to tape around

I’ve wanted to remove the Chevrolet on mine for a while, but afraid as old as it is I won’t be able to get all glue/tape off and would you still see the outline once removed. How do you recommend removing cleanly?

Some guys recommend using dental floss, and maybe a little heat from a hair dryer. Just saw back and forth behind the emblem with the floss and it'll come right off. I think it'll leave a shadow from the CHEVROLET tho. Especially on darker colored vehicles like yours and mine. I think over time the sun just fades the paint a little, thereby leaving the shadow. I'm not really sure if compounding, buffing or wet sanding will help. Anyone?

I used this today on my front bumper in my Express work van.
Didn't have the coarseness in it like Rhino liner does. This would probably work well on our running boards.

Use a hairdryer but don't hold it in place move it back and forth till it loosens up and moves around and use some dental floss the glue should easily rub off while it's warm, then use some goo gone to clean any residue, if needed buff it a lil bit depending on the outline that's left behind

The rubber seal has a metal frame inside that can't be crimped down to bite back down on the pinch weld. Did it to mine and my brothers Denali and it never came back off again.

Thanks! I did this and applied a gasket adhesive also. It seems to be holding very well. I also must have had something that spilled on it previously as it seemed very sticky. A good cleaning fixed that problem thankfully so I was able to fix this for like $10 waay cheaper then replacing an otherwise perfectly good gasket.

I've begun upgrading my headlights...again. I ordered some LED fogs and low beams, and if I like those, I'll get the highs and the DRLs.

Fogs came today, and I really like them. They're bright and a nice color.
