Over the last couple of weeks I’ve washed her down, removed faded door edge guard, new battery, new tray, washer pump and lines, leds inside, reverse pods, led tails.

Began wiring in come led cobs under the hood but they don’t turn off when I close the hood, any suggestions?

I'm having the exact same issue, I just disconnected them for now.
Wouldn't be hard....just a plastic wedge shape with the correct bolt pattern.....patent pending!
I think they'd only sell on the forum, lol! I don't think anyone else would even notice.
The autocal would make your problems ez to fix. Kill the code in the tune and u dont have to worry about it again I just ran my truck thru state inspections and no issues.

I've hit the tuning limits of Blackbear and efilive though and can't keep my converter locked with 0 throttle input so I may have it tuned with hptuners. I got some more changes to do first, but if I sell my autocal I'll let ya know..

What's the autocal go for, and how does that work again? Thx for the first dibs offer too!

Yes I do have the underhood light from the factory and when I connected it to it, the light stayed on but I know see the gravity switch is after where I connected and I’m not sure how to connect to there.

The negative switch may be the way to go. Unless I can figure out how to connect to the factory switch

Here's a couple pics of mine. I just soldered to the brass clip things that the bulb snaps into. If you take the back cover off there's easy access on the back side.IMG_5999.JPG IMG_6001.JPG IMG_6005.JPG

Just open up the switch and solder wires to the brass contacts at each end of the stock bulb. Right where the bulb connects. I thing you need to drill a hole for the wire to exit through.
Sounds like a plan, appreciate it. I’m doing one cob on the driverside now. And maybe one later on the pass towards the front.

Autocad sells for $600 with tune. I think it was $300 for me since I was already street tuned by Justin. Mine would be a lot less.

It plugs into the OBDII port and you can data log all the sensors so you can go back and see how the truck performed on a laptop. You can send data logs to Justin and he can send uodates tunes via email. Upload them to the Autocal using a laptop, disconnect from the laptop, go out to the truck and upload the revised tune.

Its a lot easier than pulling your pcm and sending it to him and having your truck be down and risk damaging the pcm during shipping or the pins each time u install the pcm. No crank relearns. You can also read and clear trouble codes.

It's neat and I don't want to switch but my circumstance warrants I look at other options and none are cheap..

Well, that was a bust. Security light never stops blinking. Does removing the TCB or TBC, I forget which order it's in, reset the BCM memory? Thinking I'll pull that overnight and see what the outcome is in the morning
well, seems like I can't win this weekend. replaced Ignition housing and the ignition cylinder. The damn truck never goes into the relearn procedure and the security light blinks nonstop. No 10 minute, 20 minute, or 30 minute window works the light just never stops flashing to even allow me into the first step of the relearn procedure. So, from research online and talking to a few 12volt installers I used to work with, we believe that maybe the BCM is on permanent lock out.

Anyone here ever deal with this? I ordered a BCM should be here Tuesday.
