my tahoe pretty much sits parked all week, all but on weekends or when i need to take my mother to a dr appointment, today was a dr day, its super hot today had the air blasting sitting in stop and go traffic the whole way there, then as i park and put it in park im hearing this roaring sound ive never heard before, im like wtf broke????

then i realized it was the fans on high speed screaming. felt much better after i put 2 and 2 together.

never heard fans so loud before. they was a humming good lol
I want to do this so bad. I have everything I need, just need the pins turned on in the pcm.

Unfortuneately it's an 03. How much would it cost? And I guess it could be activated and still use the clutch fan too, until I put the fans on?

Replaced my front blower fan resistor today. It didn't work. Weird part was the one that was on it looked like it had been replaced already and had melted. When I installed it I checked connections and still nothing. Does this mean it's the blower motor that crapped out on me?

Here's a photo of the plug that goes into the resistor

I'm sick of this shit. It crapped out a week or 2 ago and it's been consistantly 95-100* out luckily the rear ac works so my son doesn't cook

Oh hell yeah, that's a wining look.

Nice work.

Okay. Here's what I got on the sides. You can see that the top cap is as close to perfect as it gets with the fender /wheel well. But because it's riding outside, it pushes the denali part back. Not bad from 15 feet, but up close, it's clear it doesn't line up. Thoughts/ideas ?

Is there power going to it? Are you able to test the blower motor itself?

credits are 50 each, so 100, unless i go out and buy a bundle of credits. there was a sale a while back, 10 credits for 350 or 400 iirc. was gonna jump on em, but decided not to.

pretty sure the clutch fan would hit the electric fans if installed. or be really close. like to close for comfort.

No, what I mean if I get the electric fans turned on in the pcm, that I could leave the clutch fan on until I finally, physically bolt the electric fans on. The clutch fan would still continue to work correctly? I was told they would, just double checking.
