@HiHoeSilver , shit sorry i never saw you post.... I would have tried to shim the middle of the front of the denali bumper. Starting directly in the center or off the center about 4” on both sides of center line with a scrap piece of 2x3 about 1/2 thick and it would have held the bumper off the foam yet pull the top of the sides foward lining them up with cap. Then just do same with cap or maybe even nothing to cap... oh well... too late... sorry bud.

I did that. Looked like hell.

Fine, be that way......

Lol. I tried a number of things along the way. First was to shim the denali up under the grille, but that looked bad because you can't keep the top of the bumper level. I had to cut it off to even get the cap on because I trying to put the cap onto something that's the same size as it is...

So far, so good. No leaks that I can see, but we haven't really driven it much either.

Good to hear. In the future if your interested you might want to try the guys at J & B Transmissions in Middletown. I would prefer if they were a little more fix it before it breaks instead of don't fix it if it isn't broken but they are super honest and good guys. Might be a little far from you but figured Id let you know.

Dropped car off yesterday to get AC compressor and all the oil cooler lines changed. They were about to test the system when all of a sudden the blower motor stops working? Coincidence? Was working when I tried it two days ago. Either way I need them to change it because how else will they test the new compressor? Sucks because its a easy change and def cheaper if I do it.

At least here in Louisiana they now offer a two year inspection sticker if you are willing to pay more for it (which I am). They don't check much when they do an inspection, but tint IS one of the few things they check. I usually roll up with my windows down and they don't even check them. They check the horn, wipers, turn signals, and sometimes do a quick brake test.
I actually think inspections are a good thing, there's some raggedy ass cars that have NO business being on the road as they are definitely unsafe to be driven. I don't mind a bi-annual inspection one bit if it will keep unsafe cars off the road. At least they don't do emissions testing here though, that would suck!
It's a whopping $5 for an additional year..id pay that..I`ve seen some raggedy shit on the roads in LA haha.. I could never get by with 15% tint in Dallas. I got tired of getting a "guy" to get me by till the next year. My truck is much cooler with darker tint during those 100 degree stretches we have. I'm thinking of going back rogue again lol. .
