Went to the dealership for an alignment. Found out I need a vehicle inspection as well.
They failed my truck for the HIDs, various LEDs, my foglights dont work, and the rear bumpstops for not being installed.
I argued the bump stops because per VA state inspection manual only suspension bushings or components that attach to the axle that causes it to move out of alignment can result in an auto failure. I called my trusty local shop and they said put factory halogens in and remove the fog lenses and they will slap a sticker on her.... going to them on Monday.
Only reason I didn't go the the shop first was because I didn't think they could do an alignment with 22" wheels. Most places around me only do up to 20s
FFS the dealer wanted to fail me for LEDs in the reverse and tag lights.
Man that sure makes me glad we don’t have inspections here, that would be bad for me.Went to the dealership for an alignment. Found out I need a vehicle inspection as well.

Damn that sucks, I can see them failing for the HID’s & fogs, but LED reverse lights & tag lights that’s just stupid (I get that it’s not OEM) if the LED’s in the tag lights are pure white it makes it so much easier to read not like your hindering the cops from reading your plate & the factory reverse lights absolutely blow you can’t see anything your making the truck safer imo, just swap the bulbs out and go through then swap them out
