I'm pretty sure they changed the gap on the 99-02's to .040 also in a TSB. I've been running .040 in my 02 forever. And the iridiums will come at .040; double check them but they aren't supposed to be re-gapped or they'll prolly get damaged.

A little late to the party but I found it. I did notice this is for the iridium plugs and I am running the platinums at the moment. I think 0.060 is right for my truck if I have platinums and 0.040 for iridium?

A new spark plug has been released for use in the above vehicles. The new spark plug has an Iridium tip instead of the current Platinum tip. Due to the different tip design, the gap of the spark plug has also changed. The new spark plug, P/N 12571164 with AC Delco P/N 41-985, is gapped to 1.01mm (0.040 inches) when the spark plug is made. The spark plug gap is set during manufacturing and should not be changed or damage to the spark plug may result. Any new spark plug found to not be properly gapped should not be used.

I’ve been running .040 forever with all my plugs, even before the blower. I just changed to a colder plug( NGK TR6). I saw that tsb too but I swear I saw somewhere to run .040 on all plugs. Probably ok either way but just check the iridium ones, don’t re-gap them. If they’re not right return them.

Haven’t been on here as much and just wanted to add something. I was in Florida and got back yesterday morning. Drove from NY -Florida and back 2600 miles and averaged between 15&17 mpg on each tank. I did an oil change, air filter, fuel filter cleaned the maf and throttle body. Great time with family and a great time in the truck.

So with other items on the truck trumping the priority of replacing the rusted front and rear bumpers. I decided to picking up some bed liner spray with my first intentions of just spraying the body moldings. After some consideration I figured to just spray the bumpers as well, since I plan on replacing them in the near future anyways. Turned out okay, nothing special, now I don't have to stare at the rust. Ended up running out of spray before I could completely finish the rear bumper, had somewhere to be

Which bedliner did you use and how did it go on for you? Any adhesion promoter or special prep?

Sorry buddy, I don't.

The front seats look great. Once I replaced those rubber tabs in the 2nd row drop down console, I pulled that upper piece off--the top of the cup holder--just pry it off. That's as far as I went, but there MIGHT be some screws under there that might get you where you need to be. Lmk how it goes.
Thanks Tony. Thats what I was thinking. I pryed them up a little but they were creaking pretty bad. I'll give it a go and see what happens. I'm ready to see this done..already feels like a new truck lol..

Changed out my trans oil cooler lines and connectors yesterday. Broke the oil cooler so had to get a new one but all in all not to difficult. Every time I work on this thing I am glad I installed the 3" body lift. Makes everything easier to get to.
