I finally replaced the motor and regulator for my rear driver's window. Has been stuck a couple of inches down for the past 3 weeks. I don't even know if it was the motor or the regulator that was bad, but I figured if I'm going to tear the door apart, I might as well replace both. Also took off the "window rain guard" thingys. They were on there when I bought it the Yukon, and just never messed with it until today... looks a lot better without them!

With the new motor/regulator half installed:

The old motor/regulator:

And yes... that IS a ratchet that I have wedged into the door... I was using it to hold the window up, lol. :wtf:

Removed the molding on the driver side. Lot easier than the rear emblems to remove and clean up. Not sure why, but it was. Passenger side tomorrow.

What all is involved with removing the molding? It's not bolted or screwed in, right? How do you clean it up afterwards/what kind of mess is left behind? Thanks!
