Hindsight 2020.

Not really a big deal, I don't plan on taking this thing on and off much. I just can't gun the sucker down with an impact.
With the stock one, you're supposed to torque it to 240 ft/lbs, then remove it and throw it away... then take another new one and torque it to 37 ft/lbs and then attempt to turn it another 140 degrees...stupid IMO. The ARP one makes it easier. I used a pipe inserted through the holes in the harmonic balancer and wedged it so the engine couldn't turn over and then torqued it a bit past 220 which is all I could manage.

On my way home from work tonight, the 05 started spewing steam from under the hood. I was a few blocks from home luckily so I made it. The connector where the heater hose connects to the block had broke. That required a complete hose assembly that connects to the firewall, block and overflow tank. It was easy to replace though. I already had a new quick connect for the firewall so that came in handy.

How do you like those side mirrors? They look like the Ford style and they look good by the way. I'm thinking about going with them. Mine don't have the blinker lights in them but I can tap into the wires somewhere to make those work.
These are the 2015 style lights. They are manual mirrors. But they came with the wiring for the blinkers and the reverse light. They work great and the reverse light helps out a lot when backing up at night.
