I just received my new Coverking Dash Cover today. The no stitches / custom-molded.
I decided to order it when the sample-swatch I got from them was nearly a perfect color.
Well,.... There's good & not so good about it....
NOT SO GOOD:
1) The color swatch sample is a whole shade darker than the dashcover I received. ( The sample says " Poly Carpet Charcoal"....... The cover just says "Charcoal". )
2) The vent openings at the windshield are a 1/2" too close to the windshield, blocking a portion of the vent, there is 4 vent slits, 3 are showing. ( The dash cover is at the 'perfect' front edge of dash, where there is no room to move it forward. ( Plus, you can't move it forward due to window posts.
3) The dashcover end, at the right-side door, partially covers the upper part of the round glass defrost vent.
THE GOOD:
1) The moid/shape is very nice - matches couture of dash.
2) The dash mold & edges fit nice. ( You will barely need the Velcro to help fitment).
So...... I will contact Coverking next week. My thought is to use a Sharpie to mark the problem areas as it sits on my dash, and they re-do the cut, and send me another one.??????????
We will see....
