What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I just ordered retrofit brackets, Morimoto mini H1 projectors, Hylux 45 watt ballasts, Morimoto 5500k bulbs and bulb holders so I can do a true retrofit in my new Anzo u-bar headlights.

I added some self adhesive weather stripping around my new Anzo headlights to close the gaps. Looks way better.View attachment 226732

That's a great idea, Also so some cushioning for the lights when hitting bumps the lamps aren't bouncing around.

Need to do that to mine have the gap and hate when the lamps jump when hitting bumps on the road.

My crappy OEM style NBS replacements came with a rubber gasket that goes around them and actually helps with that. But the weatherstrip looks much cleaner, and is also a tighter seal. Great idea @Rocketman !

No mini-thread but the latest headlight mods start here in my build thread. I’ll update as I complete the retrofit. Holy crap I just realized the build thread on The Beast is now 226 pages long. What a journey.

I never knew this was a 3 piece grille.

I am in the process of headlight/ corner light upgrades on The Beast. New Anzo u-bars which have clear lenses so I bought some corner lights with flat black housings and clear lenses to match. Undecided on whether I will bake anything open or not. Might open the headlights and remove the reflectors/ paint the chrome part, or open them all up and PTM in Pewter. Also undecided on doing a retrofit on the headlights. I checked with a maker of the Denali retrofit brackets and he said they will work on these Anzo's so if I do that it will be easy. I need to check nighttime light output to see if it's even neededView attachment 226654 .
