I was told it was probably too late. I actually have another motor, I just have to buy the usual--knock sensors, gaskets etc. I think I just rather do that instead of paying to replace the oil pump and related gaskets, only to find out it didn't work. For a motor swap, my buddy charges $500 just for labor. That's including getting it to run. I know to do the oil pump would be at least $400 just for labor--since I can't do it myself.So, you can't pull the pan, to access the pump?
