Did an oil and filter change and tire rotation.
Broke the passenger side mirror when trying to manually fold it. Now it's really loose and folds back and forth easily

Nope, manual fold, heated.
Searched online and looks like the spring nut clip thingy has popped off and I have to remove and disassemble the mirror housing and punch it back on. I'm just having a problem getting the mirror glass snapped off.
How hard is it to change the painted cover on one of these? I found a complete replacement mirror but it has a red cover and mine are pewter (gold).

If it was hard to fold before but is easy now did you break it or improve it?
well now it will fold while driving down the road and the wind pushed against it, so I guess it's now a wind fold mirror...lol
