Rr axle seal had a creeping film of oil around it that I noticed earlier this year. Didn't look like it grew by the time I had parts in hand but I already had parts in hand so meh.

Both axle seals, rear wheel bearings. Also did an oil change.

Need to get alignment checked but that'll be a when COVID is over task.

I also noticed I don't have a g80. Thought I did hut I don't. Guess I just got it in my head it was there and never paid any more thought to it. Oops!

Can't pass emissions with incomplete monitors and monitors are completed by drive cycles, so...hit the road.

...And parking lots. And gear changes. And key on engine on/key off engine off events...
I know, I know. I’ve seen somewhere online that the oem drive cycle only takes about 15 minutes versus the hour or so it’ll take to go 100 mi.

Does anyone know if the GM drive cycle actually works? Don’t really wanna drive 100 miles just to pass emissions.
I could never do their drive cycle unless I wanted to sleep in my truck in the country so I could wake up and get to the 55 mph, then all the other stupid instructions like slow down to 20 or whatever, all within the specified amount of time after a cold start.
I got everything except Evap monitor to be ready so I circumvented the registration process.

Well I’m definitely not getting that done in Atlanta [emoji23]. Guess it’s the old fashioned way then.

I was able to register mine at my brothers house in a rural county with no emissions testing. The best thing is, besides no testing or associated fees, the paperwork still gets delivered to my address so he doesn’t need to mess with it or forward it to me.
