ya as I was tightening it I was thinking hmm these must have been loose before, I was using a 1/4' ratchet and it was feeling pretty snug so I switched to a 3/8's, then my thought switched to hmm maybe the information was wrong as I was twisting then snap, um shit I thought "maybe the bolt just popped out" haha thankfully these have the rubber bushing or yes it might have cracked the intake plasticWhew. When you said you torqued the intake manifold bolts to 44 ft lbs I was hoping you didn’t crack it. I think you got lucky more than once on that job!
https://www.carparts.com/details/Ch...By2CTvugb7PLLHOWmrcaAraOEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.dsHas anyone purchased new rocker panels online for their NBS? Mine are getting the typical midwest rust and I want to fix it before it eats away at the entire truck, everything I have found so far is parts for extended cab Silverados and I'm unsure of the fitment. I have a reliable body shop that can do the work, they are allowing me to get parts on my own. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Nice. What's that wire you used? Looks like the end has 2 prongs like a fuse.Wired up a kill switch from the crank fuse as seen on another thread. Cost me less than $20 for supplies and works like a charm. Took about an hour with careful planning and mounting of the switch in the cubby.
