Agree - The split sockets are great for tightening a sensor, but I have bad memories from them spreading and letting loose. My knuckles hurt again, just thinking about it.

So according to that, Kroil was the worst performing, Liquid Wrench the best next to heat and the rest didn’t really help much at all. Hmmm.

When I encounter a stubborn O2 sensor, or anything that puts up a fight, I use heat then quench it with PB Blaster. That seems to draw it into the threads.

For those guys that have replaced the rusty rocker panels do you have any reputable sites to order replacement panels from? I am looking for inner and outer replacement panels to do the repair correctly. I have a body shop in town that is great at this repair and very familiar with it. I just want this ol girl to last as long as I can considering I've done far too much other work to let it rust away (problems of living in Illinois and road salt)

I don't know the quality but LMC Trucks has them. (Rhetorical question: does "LOL" mean Land of Lincoln?" It's a great place to be FROM. )
