Took The Beast for a drive in the snow this morning. Put it in 2nd and let it rev a bit, compression braking. I love driving this truck in the snow. And took my snow dog for a walk. He thought I was a sled, kept jumping and pulling me. View attachment 270624View attachment 270625

w/ that fur, he is definitely enjoying this weather.

get a sled & have him pull you around.... wear him out for a night. ;)

I didn’t need a sled on our afternoon walk, he was pulling me fine.
When I was a kid, a guy in the neighbor had a beautiful husky named Honey Bear. He would walk here around the neighborhood every evening so he and her could get exercise. Her leash was a 30 ft long piece of heavy rope. He said he made it that long so if she decided to chase a rabbit, he had a chance to get up to speed before she took all the slack out of the leash. Seen him more than once back on his heels on a snowy street getting pulled.

Yeah, usually on a walk he doesn’t pull. I have worked with him since he was a pup so he doesn’t. But as soon as we hit the snow his inner sled dog came out and he looked just like you see in the movies when they’re hooked up to a sled and rarin’ to go- jumping up in the air, hitting the ground and pulling and then jumping up in the air. He did it almost the whole walk and after about a half hour I decided to cut it short and head home. He wore me out. My daughter runs with him and after 5-6 miles he comes back with more energy than he left with.

Had it detailed (finally) last weekend and took it for a spin yesterday. Now I can see every ding and chip, but I'll look past those.

EDIT: the detailer was able to remove most of the original pinstripe remnants, but some of it stayed in the paint. Not very noticeable, though.
