Pretty confident this is the one I have. Unfortunately, I’m not the one who replaced it, my mechanic did. He didn’t seem to have any trouble with it, and
My steering is tight AF now. [emoji16][emoji106][emoji631][emoji631]
Well hopefully somebody will install one themselves so we have first-hand experience and maybe put that rumor to rest. Or find out they indeed are tight af. I nominate @blueinkd !

Not sure if it makes a difference, was just curious. After random REP issue with my Tahoe for 2 years while driving, I happened to pinpoint the issue to the 16pin connector on the Tac module. Replaced that connector and issue went away for 2 years. Then all the sudden started getting REP on startup like you are about twice a week sometimes more when it was hot outside. Never again got it while driving. Chased the issue for about 2 years cleaning grounds, adding grounds, etc. Never fixed it. Was the main reason I sold it so cheap, because couldn’t in my right mind pawn that off on someone. Fortunately new owner just wanted a truck to play around with and said he was ok with trying to figure it out.
Do they sell that connector? If so, do you have a link?

Thanks to @Sam Harris i got a PN for a possible fit of a new style shark fin to replace the old style on my 02. It fits , just doesn’t plug in ( don’t care since OnStar doesn’t work and I did have to remove a piece of plastic on the new mount part so it would fit in the hole but it looks great and sealed up good. PTM and installed today. PN is 25775201.

Here is the link- https://www.eficonnection.com/home/category/harnesses-and-connectors/automotive-connectors/connector-pigtails?Engine+Type=&Wire+Count=16&Connector+Color=&Application=ACCELERATOR+PEDAL&action_ProductFilterForm=Filter

Just noticed it says Sold Out.

Again, this seemed to fix my issue when it happened while driving. The truck was idling in the driveway and I wiggled that connection and it went into REP. I cleared the code and restarted and made it do it again. I knew it had to be the connector or the TAC module. Cheaper to replace the connector.

I’ve heard the Moog pitman arm is a PIA, too tight. I went with ACDelco for that, Moog Problem Solver idler and bracket and other parts.

my whole front end is moog with no issues, went with the HD pitman arm & idler arm as well. Only issue with my front end is a little play in the steering gear and unfortunately all remans suck.

Did some maintenance on the Tahoe. Rear end and transfer case services. Also picked up an S10 for a daily. 2.2 5 speed Xtreme, it has the bodykit removed from the truck. Been lowered and is pretty decent overall.

The Tahoe is waiting on a new rough country bull bar and to install the 2 light bars. Yes, I'm that guy. No I do not have shame in it.

Also, I'm doing some minor "comfort" upgrades, putting in a USB/HDMI socket for my Stinger Heigh10 so I don't have cables laying all around the console all the time when not in use.
