What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

R&R left rear window motor and guide, also installed those 02 wipers. The drivers side could hit the hood when folded back but you just have to install the wiper arm higher (or high enough) when it's in parked position. For me the most troublesome wiper was the passenger when I wanted to clean it with a squeegee, so this "upgrade" is nice.

One thing I noticed is the biggest difference between passenger and drivers arms is the driver has 2 spray nozzles vs the passenger and they are slightly different bend at the end. I wonder if anyone has tried using driver side arms for both for more increased wiper fluid output, or if it is worth it?

Went on a 2.5 hour trip to visit our injured dog and when I rolled up the windows the left rear would not go all the way up. My wife says "at least it isn't raining". 20 minutes into the trip back it rained nonstop :)
Luckily I could get window up about 3-4 inches from the top and with the rain guards it wasn't too bad.

So I ordered a new regulator/motor assy and while I was at it ordered new wiper arms that fold up/out like somebody mentioned in a post a while back. They were under $30 for the pair so it's worth a try so I don't have to wrestle with the squeegee when I clean the windows.
Usually you can pull up on it while the other person bumps the switch a few times and manage to get it closed.

Trucool 40k install today! I was supposed to be doing the rear brakes as well, but I’m waiting on the powder coated calipers anyway, so a couple more weeks will be fine.

I bought the factory trans cooler lines, and we followed the instructions found here, and on another site I probably shouldn’t mention here. Worked like a charm! My temps were too high for cool weather and no load on the trans. After looking in more detail at the trans information on the Tech2, finding no slips recorded, and the shift times rather reasonable, with 212k on it.. I decided I’d rather try to keep this trans going longer, so cooling it off is key.

I also installed some heat shield I bought from Summit on the lines near the trans side, since they’re really close to the headers. This is probably most of the reason I had temps too high for my liking. And of course I forgot to snap a pic of that.. it’s this stuff: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-25832

After driving around for about 15 minutes, I couldn’t get the temp over about 110° [emoji1787] guess it’s working well!! Looking forward to seeing where it goes in the heat of the summer.

Nice work! Thought you had a factory cooler, but I guess not. That TruCool should be -- to use an old phrase -- the bomb!

you might want to relocate that ambient temperature sensor, when I did mine it would say it is was 111 deg in the dic when it was really only about 85-90

Lost power to my windows radio and my gauges the RPM gauge works check engine light indicator work gear indicator does not work I checked every fuse including the fuse on the back of the radio and can't find a problem

No Exchange new battery new 6.0 engine still no power or dome lights starts and runs fine also the diagnostic port doesn't work
It drove fine right before I vacuumed it
