Can anyone help me find the factory hardware for the 2005 -06 electric fan shroud? Looks like it would be some rubber pads, washers, and the two bolts. I'm just not happy with my hardware store bolts and washers. Looks hacky.
FYI: The bolts that bolt the electric fans to the core support are the SAME EXACT bolts as the two upper radiator bolts. You can just pull the top two radiator mounting bolts from any GMT800 (Probly GMT900 as well) truck/SUV in the junkyard and they will fit I believe the rubber pads that the bolts go thru are the same as well, but I'm not 100% positive about those. But I AM positive about the bolts, I've done it for my own fans.

Finally finished up my oil pump swap today. But now I'm pissed/confused/stumped/irritated because I STILL don't have oil pressure at idle. It keep dropping to almost zero at idle, and the warning light comes on. If I rev the engine, I get anywhere from 20 to 30psi. As soon as I let off the gas though, it drops well below 10psi, almost to zero. Also, my lifters are tapping quite loudly. I've always had a lifter tick, but never nearly this loud. And it usually gets pretty quiet once the engine warms up.
That’s not good. Hoping for the best.

Thanks again brother..! I couldn’t remember. Been a pretty crazy few weeks around here.

I hear ya! I made sure that the rubber feet and the top bolts were with it when I pulled the fans. Knew you'd need them! Bet they work great.

Last night I changed out the lower control arms, upper control arms and front axles with nice, shiny new stuff. Truck rides fantastic now. Used the GM Professional UCA and LCA's. Heavier than what came on the truck initially. The bushings were pretty much gone.

Sounds to me like the crank or camshaft bearings might be plugged and they are not letting oil up to the top of the block. If they are not plugged they may be worn out. When they wear out, oil loses pressure and it also does not make it up to the top of the block. Several years ago I ran into this on my Camaro ls1's engine. I would try doing and engine flush to rule out the bearings being plugged.

I was thinking a spun bearing but this is possible too.
