I’ve been paying $2.86 for 87 octane the last few weeks. Highway robbery.Topped off with 13.8 gallons of E85 @ $2.99/gal. 85 octane was priced at $3.49.
Now she's at 81% alcohol in the tank.
Thanking @Sam Harris for his tip on the local Alta stations. Been getting corn fuel there for several months now.

Do you have to have a flex fuel model to run E85? I know when I changed my fuel filter on my S-10 back in the day, I found out it had the flex fuel filter. I still never ran E85 because I don't really know anything about it.Topped off with 13.8 gallons of E85 @ $2.99/gal. 85 octane was priced at $3.49.

I've heard conflicting information over the years, but is E85 detrimental to a fuel system, even one that has been built to accommodate E85? I used to fill up with it quite often years ago and the truck seemed to run better on it, but when I read there may be long term deterioration of fuel system parts/hoses, I stopped using it all the time. The fuel system has to be set up to run E85. The engine will use more E85 than straight gas, and the injectors and fuel pump need to accommodate that need. Take a look at the 8th digit of your VIN to see what letter it is. Mine is a "Z" indicating the 5.3L Flex Fuel L59 engine.
did the master go dry at any point? if so you'll need to bleed the master. then re bleed the calipers.I probably should have replaced the whole line, but after going to every parts store that was open Sunday and not getting any brake line or fittings I had to wait till my normal parts store was open on Monday. I ended up just cutting out the rusty part, and renting a flaring tool and using brake line couplers. It's not leaking but I feel like I still have air in the lines, maybe in the front from when the bleeder was leaking after I got the truck. Gonna try to bleed them again today, and see if I can finally get an alignment, it's been months now and I think my wife is tired of driving the Ford 500
