70 degrees the day after Christmas! I took advantage and gave her a wash and quick spray wax.

How many hours did you leave the penetrating fluid on it? Might need to do that a few times over a few days.
Not very long. I was hoping to get it done today. I noticed the bung was starting to bend on the collector, so I stopped. I'm gonna try to get it done by a mechanic.

Or just go directly to a muffler shop so when the bung breaks off they can weld a new one on.
Didn't think of that. There's only 1 muffler shop around here and he's an A1 a$$hole. Charged me $200 to weld a muffler on. Can't even imagine how much he'd charge to do an o2--with a possible new bung.

Maybe drive a ways to a good shop?
I have to work it around my screwed up work schedule, plus my gf needs it this week. Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out soon. I drove it yesterday and it felt, and sounded terrible. Weird because no cel, but it didn't light for the other side either.
