If there isn't, it's a much better location--maintenance wise--then being under the intake.
Yeah but then you need a new valley pan too. I replaced my sensors when I did my blower at 150k and they were still working fine, no rust or anything. If you buy OEM it’s not a high maintenance item, you might have to do it only once in the life of your truck especially if you do an RTV dam.

I would have done it on mine though since I would have to remove the blower to get to them again. Fingers crossed mine never go out!

Finally have the appointment to get rid of the rust. Shop gave me a pretty good price. 16 years of Illinois winters will do this even if you wash it all the time and keep it garaged. As soon as the rust is fixed next is the AMP research power steps. My gf is tired of climbing in and falling out of it.

Are they just going to replace the lower sills, and repaint just them? What's a good price?

My rockers are gone from the bend under the door and down. Everything covered by the Z71 trim. Stopped by a local shop. $3k was the estimate! I am going to see if I can swing a welder this summer and do them myself. Not professional... I just want to get at least 4 years out of her, before having to move on.
