No lie!! It's a trap! I haven't had much time to do the research and I really don't like the idea of Adapters for the injectors and TB.
Just completed the swap - don't need adapters for either. You can get a basic 92mm fly-by-cable throttle body on ebay with IAC and TPS, and you can use your original injectors as long as you use the '07-up fuel rails. C5 Vette return style fuel filter is a necessary addition.

Still not a free swap by any means, but not overly complicated.

Edit: Looks like I was already beaten to the punch.

But is it really worth it? How much power do you think it's worth?

Can anyone else confirm the fuel rail comment??

I'll make a post later with some pictures detailing the swap over in the engines section.

EDIT: I have not forgotten, just been busy. Will make the post in the next few days.

You should take a look at the "Under Construction" thread. Lots of great ideas in there.

My fuel filler door began waving to any cars around me, so I had to replace it. I couldn't find color code 382, but grabbed an 817. And since I am replacing my hood and liftgate with the same 817s ( one of these days ), it should look even better.

I also noticed that the front bumper cover had most of the retaining clips broken off from the previous owner ( hit a whitetail or several ), so I grabbed a new one of those. It's black, but I like the way that looks too. But now I need to repaint the fender flares. Damned list never gets any shorter !IMG_20230506_151655123.jpgView attachment 398515
Pay no attention to the cloudy headlights - those, too, are on the list.

Haven't gotten outside yet to do it. But will be checking for hail damage from a storm last night. Hoping i got it in the garage before too much of the big stuff came down.

Edit. No hail dents so that is nice. Pulled the Stampede bug/rock deflector off of it. Not sure if looks right now....20230507_065646.jpg
