One of the worst suvs ever built.
I would love to have an older 7.3 excursion tho.
But expedition's are straight garbage.
Yeah I tried talking her into an excursion, but an old friend of hers had one with the v10 and they had trouble with it, plus they are starting to show their age.

At the end of the day its the wifes primary vehicle since she's shuttling the kids around most of the time during the week.

That's why I said 7.3 and not the v10 lol. 7.3 would take some maintenance but go forever. But not a ideal fit for a mother's dd. I would've looked at armadas or sequoias before expeditions.
Either way finger crossed for this one :angels2:

I did look at both of those. They are a little smaller, and she wants a big ol suv with captains chairs in the second row. It makes accessing the third row much simpler for the kids.

I still have to do my swap. I'm using a stock setup tho. Gonna see if I can swap for the ppv spec calipers. How'd you make out? Was bleeding them a pita?
Tried to use my home made garden sprayer, but it just leaked fluid all over at the master cylinder. Gonna have my kid help me with the old fashioned way here shortly.

Got the brakes all buttoned up. Had my kid help me bleed them. All I can say is DAMN! This thing finally stops. I used to get horrible shimmy when I'd slow down for corners or stop lights after I added the 2" wheel spacers. Now no more wobble and really feels like it's gonna stop now. I also added those 1" spacers on the LCA underneath the Jounce stops. They seem to have really tightened up my steering as well , as I had a bit of play before. So all around it stops a lot better and it handles a lot more responsively. The rotors almost completely fill the inside of my 17's and it looks like I've got a big brake kit now.
