Trans cooler to rad lines appear to be leaking/weeping. Not enough that im noticing a drip but they definitely look wet.

Im thinking about bypassing the radiator. I already have a decent trans cooler (30k ACDelco 89022577 GM Original Equipment Automatic Transmission Auxiliary Fluid Cooler https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C9TRWG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_AKZOBbM8CG07J) and i live in CA so its not like im worried about overcooling the fluid. any thoughts or concerns? Anyone else dont this?

What happened to your bumper?

I was in an accident a few days ago. A young lady locked up her brakes on me in the pouring rain and I couldn't stop the Burban as fast as she did, so I ran into the back of her. It did a good amount of damage for such a light hit. Busted my bumper, grill, hood, lights, and ****** up the transmission cooler and lines. No airbags deployed thankfully.

Damn that sucks. I have the original (black) hood off of my '02 that I'd be happy to give you.. unfortunately it'd cost more to ship it to you than it's worth.

So I'm planning to upgrade my brakes and regear next, then new paint. Looking for suggestions..

The stock brakes with these 20x12 988's and 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers just don't feel safe. I've had the brakes to the floor on the HWY and thank god the dude in front of me didn't brake more or I would have hit him. Too much wheel diameter and mass for stock brakes. So I'm thinking about going Wilwood-16" slotted rotors and 6 piston calipers up front, 4 in rear. But I'm also planning on going with steel lines and converting to hydroboost. My question is, is this total overkill? I'm looking for both high performance & safety, and I don't mind a bit of overkill, but is this just a waste of money?

BTW while I'm at it I'm planning on regearing front and rear to 4.56 Yukon ring & pinion and swapping the G80 in the back with a TruTrac. I do drive on the HWY but I care about performance more than gas mileage.

Lastly, looking for a paint shop in the NYC, Northern NJ area if anyone has any recommendations.

I feel that way about the stock brakes on my burb. Wish there was more. But don't want to spend the money on a wilwood or baer big brake kit.

As far as bodyshop recommendations if you're willing to travel, I'd recommend Rico's Autobody in robbinsville Nj
