Good grief. How did you drive it like that? Here are the pics

Originally, I thought I had a caliper in the front that was dragging, and I think I still do. So, ended up doing the NNBS brake upgrade while I was at it. But, turns out it was the one in the rear. Never did the idiot check on the brakes so partly my fault...still need to do the parking brake, but I’ll get a better look next week.

Very carefully!! Lol...happened while on my way home from work. Had no clue brakes were in that condition. Was too late to go to parts store that night. Then had to be back to work early in the morning so going to parts the next morning when they opened was out of the question. Couldn’t take the wife’s car because it was going to the stealership Wednesday.Good grief. How did you drive it like that?
Well - Now all you need is a playing card or two to clip to your caliper and you can get a really cool sound like you did on your bike as a kid! Here are the pics

Actually, I did hear the brakes make that squeaky sound that lets you know it’s time for them to be changed. But my thought was that I had a little more time. But then I started to hear like a grinding metal to metal sound that was making the truck feel like the front end was about to fall off or something. And that’s what made me start thinking it was actually the front brakes. But then, after changing those over the weekend between off hours, I was still hearing the noise but the grinding sound wasn’t as bad anymore. Then this happened! I was actually waiting to change them next week after getting to moms house for the week of Thanksgiving! Time schedule got moved up really quickly! Doing the drivers side right now since I have some time before going in today.the horrible metal on metal screeching noise never made you think maybe something was wrong? lol or was it like that when you bought it?
Lmao!! Wonder if that would actually work!Well - Now all you need is a playing card or two to clip to your caliper and you can get a really cool sound like you did on your bike as a kid!
I kept checking the front and rear wheels to see if that was actually happening, but no. At least, not that I could see.I bet that thing was glowing red right before it separated.
