What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Love the fit of the OEM parts. Where did you purchase these? We’re they reasonable?

Same here. I figured I had three options:
1. buy a headlight polish kit (which never lasts very long)
2. buy aftermarket housings (I've been down this road with fog light housing replacements and they were garbage)
3. buy OEM housings and not have to address it again for another decade

I found the replacements on eBay from this seller for $35 each shipped, which in my opinion is pretty reasonable given GM parts direct has them for $65-$85 each.

Replaced bearing in idler and AC pulley.

Why bother, one might say? Just buy new pulleys!

The problem is that nowdays ALL new pulleys, including GM Genuie OEM, have Chineese bearings. I am not particular against Chineese sfuff, as long as the quallity is high and consistent. The problem with Chineese bearings is the inconsistency. One might last 5 years, another will start to whine in 6 month.

I installed Japaneese bearings. Those ones will last for sure!

Lol had to toss them on to see what they looked like . With 35w 5000k hids there was still some useable light. He’s coming by in a bit to pick them up.

I replaced the R.F. cv axle shaft since it was a year ago that the other one blew up. While I had the wheel off, I rotated the tires and adjusted the torsion bars properly. It had a floating front end feel, I found the bump stops were not touching the control arm at all. After adjusting that, I let the LQ9 clear its lungs and took it out on the highway. Now it needs a good cleaning.

Is this for the 6L80/6L90? I was reading through this earlier and that what I was getting out of it. As fast as I know, only the 6 speed autos have adaptive learning. I could be wrong though.

Agreed only way I know to reset learned adaptives is with a scan tool and 4l60/4l80 have adaptive learning also not just the 6Ls
