What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Disassembled wheel bearing hub and shocked about the condition and exchanged leaking power steering pressure hose, including exchange of servooil.

Yeow! A few months ago, mine actually spit a few roller bearing out like watermelon seeds...
This is what I found laying on top of the tie rod end!

As soon as I took the axle nut off, the front half of the hub assembly pulled out by hand. The back half was left behind only because it was still bolted to the steering knuckle.

No, only joking...

Yes startet direct after exchange of the front differential fluid, and first cracked more than the typical wheel bearing sound. And it only was 2 Kilometer than, everything sounds normal. So I thought, i somehow destroyed my differential...
I had simultanesly sometimes the message "Tracking control"...
After maybe 50 kilomters it started making loud noises, so I was sure that it is the wheel bearing.

I hope that it also fix the traction control, but I'm looking forward to it, because the sensor is included in the wheel beering hub.

It should fix it. The wheel speed sensor affects the ABS, Traction Control and Stabilitrack.

Intermittent scraping noise. I think it was the rotor wobbling making things grind on the caliper.

I have since learned that what may seem like a simple ABS speed sensor issue throwing a code certainly can be the hub getting ready to disintegrate.

@Rocket Man, I know you already know this...

But a note for newbies: ABS codes/lights can be the canary in the coal mine!
DO NOT ignore ABS sensor or traction control codes. Be sure to really closely inspect and see what the hub is doing. Make sure there is no weird noises or extra movement when you try rocking the wheel side to side and up/down.

I had an issue recently while going up a mountain to do some snow wheeling. Every hard right turn I would here a rubbing noise, almost like a power steering pump whine, coming from driver's side front. While wheeling, (some aggressive steering and what not) the abs light came on for a while but eventually went off. Haven't driven it since. Possible problems?

While wheeling, (some aggressive steering and what not) the abs light came on for a while but eventually went off. Haven't driven it since. Possible problems?

Get the front off the ground. Grab each wheel and try to rock it back and forth, side to side and up/down. Spin it by hand and feel for any unusual drag or hear any metal-on-metal noise. Might not be anything, but could be hub damage or on its way out...

Might be the wheel bearing like @MassHoe04 mentioned. When you put extra stress on it, it’s possible it was causing the hub to move enough to cause the sensor issue.
