I returned from my first long drive..... If you have the stock "hollow" rear swaybar, replace it for the Helwig solid chrome-molly swaybar. Huge improvement.... And I have it on the soft setting for now.

They're really nice. Gotta give an update in a few months on how they're holding up. Put them in my wish list.

Found an 8.1 complete with harness, ecm, and engine stand for $600.

Going to pull it apart. Valve job, bearings, probably rings. This will be my 6.0 replacement.

There's not a lot of performance parts--if any for the 8.1. There was a guy with an obs that did the 8.1 swap. Iirc, he also had the 4l80.
