I figured out how to take apart that connector and now I get to attempt later on of soldering a new wire extension to reconnect back to the broken part. Unless someone knows someone that sells individual wires like 4-6 inches long with the connector already crimped on

Repair failed. Looks like I get to pull the entire door harness out and go through the wires one by one.
Wiring is one of the most challenging things to fix on vehicles. I had a broken wire in the side harness by the driver door on my Silverado that was for the airbag system and it took me forever to figure it out. It was broken/ intermittent on the inside but the outside showed no visual indication- the insulation was still intact. I had to do continuity tests on every wire in the harness. Good luck, keep at it. You’ll eventually get it. :thumbsup:
