I figured out how to take apart that connector and now I get to attempt later on of soldering a new wire extension to reconnect back to the broken part. Unless someone knows someone that sells individual wires like 4-6 inches long with the connector already crimped on

Repair failed. Looks like I get to pull the entire door harness out and go through the wires one by one.
Wiring is one of the most challenging things to fix on vehicles. I had a broken wire in the side harness by the driver door on my Silverado that was for the airbag system and it took me forever to figure it out. It was broken/ intermittent on the inside but the outside showed no visual indication- the insulation was still intact. I had to do continuity tests on every wire in the harness. Good luck, keep at it. You’ll eventually get it.

Yes the hood was faded along with tree sap dmg from PO and had some damage from someone using a pressure washer to close, we won't talk about that and the roof wasn't at the point of rust but it was close add in some scrapes to the front bumper it was time.
That’s awesome that it’s getting a new paint job. Mine is sitting in the driveway waiting for me to find out if I blew the transmission again or I broke something else this time. Damn supercharger combined with the weight and AWD makes it really difficult to keep from breaking the drivetrain. Sigh. Waiting for spring because no shop. IMG_3734.jpeg

Replaced the passenger rear exterior door handle, my son was opening the door and it fell off in his hand. I also ordered some stuff to do my spring cleaning of the interior and exterior.
