What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Have you tried 1a Auto’s 2 wrench trick? You use a larger wrench’s box end to hook the open end of the other wrench so it’s like a cheater bar on a ratchet. Works pretty good.

I actually didn't know about that. Too late now and I'm completely fine with $100 for someone else to do it. I'll definitely keep this in mind though!

This comes in real handy, big time, time saver, doesn't have a lot of torque but once you break it loose this takes all the work out of it, bought it used at the flea market for like $15 put a new connector on it works like a champ

I changed the oil and installed the fumoto oil drain plug. Definitely gonna make oil changes a little easier.

I had to look up what a Fumoto drain plug was. Found a post from last August on this thread about it. Mine's already on order. Thanks!

What holds the plastic clip on? Just friction?

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it stayed on long. Wasn't as snug as I'd like it to be. But, highly doubt something would make the lever move enough to open it. I like the fact I can attach a small hose to it and drain it instead of just letting it pour out into a pan.

Last week I was on vacation, visiting a tool store, and found a 1/2" drive x 36" long breaker bar with a socket for a 3/4" pipe made into the end. With a pipe socket I can make it as long as I want! I bought it immediately for occasions like this. Hammering on a wrench gets old quick. And and impact gun frequently won't fit in the space available.

This exact one. F107n. The clip is a little loose. It will stay, but it's definitely not snug.

I bought the Femco, it has a different design. It can’t drain until you screw the fitting on that has a hose already attached pointing straight down from the engine. When you screw the hose on, it pushes the plunger in. It also has a brass cap that screws on to the part that’s in the pan, to keep dust out and just makes it look better when not draining oil.
