Just be careful when you put the applique back on not to overtighten the nuts... most people crank on them and that's what causes them to snap... you can ask @RichardCranium about this he just put a hatch on his tahoe and had to swap out his applique...

Well it's done... 3 out of 4 bolts broke on the liftgate applique so for future readers that's a 75% chance they will break... lol

I went to Advance auto parts and bought so "Nut Clips" and some 30mm bolts and installed those in place of the original studs....

Could have probably used shorter bolts but I wanted to be sure and it doesn't interfere with anything. Installing the Nut Clips did require a little dremel action but nothing to serious.

I then removed the OEM back up camera and installed the Kenwood CMOS-320 Multi Angle camera in its place....

So the install is complete and the applique went on just as if it came from the factory that way... no issues.

For the record the nut behind the wiper motor can be removed WITHOUT removing the wiper motor using a 10mm wrench but it is kind of tricky to get your hand in there to it. I didn't even have to loosen the wiper motor.

The multi angle camera is pretty cool... I am well pleased so far with the results.

That looks great, love the stance especially on a smaller set of wheels.
What have you done to the suspension anything custom?

About the only thing "custom" was fitting a set of QA1 single adjustable shocks on the rear which involved just centering the eyelets in the brackets with a couple washers lol.

It's all bolt on stuff though.
IHC 5" front arms and endlink kit. Stock spindles, stock struts
DJM Trailblazer 4" rear coils and offset endlinks
QA1 Single Adjustable rear shocks
Spohn upper and lower rear arms
Spohn Panhard
Belltech 1.25" bumpstops on the axle with free travel mod

Gave her a wash. Solved my front suspension clunk, one of the upper control arm bolts was only torqued to 70-80ftlbs. I wouldn't have though that torque would let it clunk, but once I got it up to 130ftlbs the noise disappeared.

Glad you found the cause. The forces the suspension sees would surprise you so getting the bolts torqued properly is very important. I would make sure you get it in for an alignment check to make sure things didn’t slip out of position.

Did some more compounding. Truck is coming along good. Waiting for parts to be delivered.

Does this truck have passive locking?

Yes but you have to set it in the DIC buttons.

so don’t leave keys on the seat if you don’t have another set outside or if it’s not off in DIC

I thought it did. I also thought I set it in the DIC. However it’s not working and what would cause it to do so? Think a factory reset will help?
