Has anyone looked into the 4 piston calipers that come on the new model pickups? I’d expect a similar or the same offering on the new SUVs.

I saw where someone did the swap on a 2006 pickup. Everything was a direct swap (caliper & rotor). He did use a couple washers to center the caliper. I’m thinking that wouldn’t be needed if the new caliper bracket was swapped too.

Tempted to explore that on my 2012 Suburban when it comes time for new brakes.

Yes I have looked into this and waiting for GM to get them back in stock.

Use the 2020 Silverado calipers and rotors (13.5")

I can confirm they will bolt to the GMT900 2wd knuckles/spindle with some washers or spacers.

The face of the caliper needs to be milled if using OEM 17" PPV wheels. The larger 18-22" wheels should fit with out milling the face of the calipers.

What about the 4x4 spindles?

Would the 2020 caliper bracket alleviate the need for spacers?

Wonder if dealers would have a supply of new take offs where buyers have went with the Brembo upgrades. I believe it’s an LPO installed by the dealers.

The profile is very close, just too large. Got the smaller size ordered. Will report Friday when it arrives.
