So I have been driving around getting the 200 miles relearn done on the transmission, that only took a week and it still didn't seem right so I went by the shop and he said well maybe it's not done relearning he said to drive it for another week and see what it does today made it 400+ miles and so I took it by the shop something is wrong with the 3-4 shift. He thinks it is either the tecm or a piston in the drum, so it goes back Monday.
Sucks. Good thing it’s not like mine, where I removed it, boxed it and sent it away to get built. That would really suck for you.

Welp, just got back from looking at that enclave.
It's freakin mint.
2011, 6 speed, dual sun roofs, leather, etc.
77k on it...
$11,000

I think we are going for it...
it looks like a nightmare to work on. :(

Especially when its time for the timing chain or water pump.........have to drop the whole front cradle out

didn't think about the water pump

oh well, I'll own that when it comes time.
Most likely I'll hire the job out to the guy that removed the exhaust bolt in my Tahoe head while i did the afm delete.
he has a two post lift...

The man did a 6.2 swap in his JK jeep... :ehcapt:

Not that he needs the money, but he does odd jobs to offset the cost of his hobbies, and i totally trust him.

so i guess when the water pump needs replacing, do the cam phasers, and timing chain at the same time.
and vice versa :jester:

Or on the other side, an excuse for me to get a two post lift... hmm ;)

I vote for the lift, and then you can do odd jobs to offset the cost of your hobby.o_O

Run away screaming from it. When I was a GM tech, we had 4 of them on average a week in the shop for trans problems, and timing issues. I got so good at dropping the engine, I'd have them out in under 45 mins. Also, changing headlights, air filter, or the oil filter suck bad. These are not good cars I'm sorry to say

lol, figures.
Well my sister has the Chevy version of this as well.
Just got it a few weeks ago, wife decided she wanted to one up her.
I might as well get good at fixing them...

Also time to start looking at two post lifts... lol

I also need to get some hp tuners credits, i assume i need to do some tweaking of the converter lockup like the hoe needed to prevent burn up and to totally kill the gas mileage.
:jester:

I also might get my dad to help out with the two post lift $$ if it supports my sister...
Hmmmm
:waytogo:
