I'm sorta broke right now too, i really thought i had this hoe totally sorted.
So it might end up going back with a cheap 5.3, or having the original rebuilt.
depending on what i can find that is.

Usually my Yukon waits for me to fix something before something else breaks. My new O2 sensors arrived on Friday. But before I could install them, the left turn signal has started hyperflashing. No bulbs burned out. I'm hoping it's a loose connector, or a bad resistor in my aftermarket taillight. But there's something else. The turn signal works normally for two flashes before going hyper. That's probably not a resistor, I'm thinking.
So you know what's dumb? Owning my Yukon for several years and not realizing that the front turn signal uses a second filament in the front marker lamp that could burn out and cause hyperflashing. You know what's REALLY dumb? Not bothering to check the front lamps until after disassembling and checking the entire rear lamp harness and resistor, cleaning all the contacts, and putting it back together.

So that's what I did to my Yukon today.

It looks like replacing that bulb will be fun with the core support right behind it.

Not sure if it differs from state to state but in some states if you put "Gift" they will charge tax on the market/"Blue Book" value of the vehicle. Just something to check in to.
no gift tax here in california :D other wise they would have charged you on the spot.. they want the money NOW
