Yes, I did that on my 03 Burb after finding the same problem in my garage tooWonder if it can be modded to bypass those locks. Cut the hooks off or something.

No thanks, it’s fine where it is. Battery tender is wired in to the main fuse on the firewall, and that’s where it would get jumped if it ever needs it. I can reach the posts from above when I need to disconnect it. Now under the bed? That’s a place that’s completely inaccessible when it’s aired out unless I could fit it at the very back next to the tailgate which is where the fuel cell is (no thanks) and I wouldn’t be able to disconnect it unless I aired it up , put it on jackstands, and climbed under it. With this truck, everything has been relocated to where it is for a reason.Id relocate that to under the bed or something. Just make sure you run some leads out to an accessible place if the battery takes a shit, so you can power the compressor/valves
It's only the 1 hook. I'm sure you can get it off with no problems.Wonder if it can be modded to bypass those locks. Cut the hooks off or something.
Must be the updated design. I heard they did away with it because of all the problems people were having with it.So this link you sent me there are NO safety hooks. @Tonyrodz check it out.
I hate when the labels are crooked. My pushbar had one that was off about the same angle. Out came the decal remover.I got the new Interstate AGM after they had to drive it across town for me since the local dealer didn’t have one. I bought a new negative cable to replace the POS one it had and a new positive terminal but that one fits in a different direction than the one that’s on it which makes the positive cable too short. I’ll get a new cable tomorrow. Dicks couldn’t get the damn label on straight.

The twins have different designs. Thecopcar is older and has the secondary latch. Theothertwin doesn’t.It's only the 1 hook. I'm sure you can get it off with no problems.

Just a thought to save from removing the front clip
Dicked around with "harmless" changes to the tune. Changed the TCC apply/release speeds, mainly to restore lockup in third, as advised by @pwtr02ss. I just copy/pasted my factory tune stuff for that one table. I don't know why, but the "clutch dump" feeling when the TCC locks in OD is gone or much less pronounced. I may lower the release TP%, though. Also tweaked the tire circumference 2.5% to alter the speedo. I need to get a cop to radar me one day. Or drive next to a Civic or some other car that has a giant digital speedometer that I can read.
Lots of free cell phone speed apps.
I used one to see the top speed of my boat, took an old cell phone and used tape to strap it to an rc car to see the top speed, and always fun to see how fast you're going while on an airplane.
