What was the material you used? But then you'd still have the same weak factory one. Check this: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/growing-up-doesnt-have-to-suck.93510/post-1451015
Either copycat'n Gruven or just decided to make them in stronger material.moved the tru-cool 40k down to the bottom grill yesterday, went by the dealer to pick up a new outside ambient temp sensor because mine was brittle and the clip broke off,
the dealer lot was barren, no new suv's they were a few 1500 pickups and a couple 2500 trucks, no wonder there all begging to buy it back lol
fixed my passenger side power-fold mirror a coupe years ago with a ching-chong plastic gear that finally died so went poking around online and now find a abundance of brass gears from china I guess they finally decided to copycat gruven so doing the mirror again today.
Happy Independence Day!
I think professional photographers have a lens for that...I look good in blur.

In my case it's called a garbage can cover the price of being not so handsome.Yes, it's called a "lens cap".
the original was plastic, this one is all metal should be good to go, time will tell it's not a hard job to do I already have it all apart just have to slap it back together.Either copycat'n Gruven or just decided to make them in stronger material.
Why not just buy the Gruven parts? The ching-Chong brass gears will still probably be cheap, thin, and strip eventually and you will be doing the job again... Lol
