AC delco battery in my wife's Buick lasted 10 years!

And I found Costco seems to have the best price on batteries.
I can't remember how much i paid for the wife's, but it was under $100 after core return (Still on my shelf lol).

Also i found their warranty is a no questions asked sorta deal.
they didn't even test one i returned a few years back.
So quick too, i was in and out in under 20min. :happy160:
(that's what she said!)

Well, considering the standard battery is what it came with, and I typically get 4-5 years out of them, I'm going to save the $50 and just go back with the standard one. Thanks to all of you for your replies
here it's hard to get anything over 3 years out of a battery just because of the heat, even now it's been overcast, smokey and still over 100 deg almost everyday.
It's basically been over 90deg's every day here since the last week of April, no rain since then either, we wont see any rain until maybe November. we haven't even had a thunderstorm.

I looked at the tahoe today.
I have it on jack stands, front wheels off, and the skid plates removed.

still need to pull the cross member under the front axle, and the front axle before i can pull the pan.

today is a beer and yard work day me thinks...

Neighbor has been doing the ol bully Chris and call him names and flip him off when he tries to work on his backyard trick this year.
Working on my thick skin suit before i head outside...

If i react in any way he yells to his horrible family "Christine (his wife) he's doing it again!"
:violin2:
(as i have found out recently his exact disfunction seems to be: "scapegoating narcissist")

:yaoface2:

So me,

:drink_nl: & Pull up a chair and watch this **** unfold and laugh at him!
also planning a row of sheds along that part of the yard.
Privacy + sheds (black widow bite helped me decide on that one!)

Got the battery. Going to go swap it out. It's identical to the advance auto one that's in it. Just $75 cheaper.

Not sure why I never considered Wally World for a battery in the past. I was reminded when I replaced Stephs battery a few weeks ago

Got it swapped. All is good. Old battery was 6/15 so I got my money's worth lol
Changed a lazy oxygen sensor. Serviced the front diff. Having some lunch and back out to do the rear.

All you guys just fill until the fluid runs out on the rear? that's what I've always done but the manual says different levels from bottom of fill hole :idk:

That’s all I’ve ever done. Until it flows out. And in my case, the axle seals. :laughing1::help:
