Are you running the same in the rears?
no, I put them on the Silverado, I have the Bear erradispeed on the front & rear of the yukon, the rears on the silverado are still stock but will be the next one's needing to be done and not sure what I will put on there just yet, but those powerstop rotors & autozone elite pads combo have a pretty good bite.
these would be the matching rear (pair for $147)

it's a bad habit, I have slowed down compared to 10 years ago, it's like a science. If you accelerate but instead of accelerating at 100%, just let up a hair (sometimes) and stuff will break less, you know like 5800 rpm instead of 6000 lol

Haha. Yeah I realized that after I broke the output shaft on my trans which was the second time I’d destroyed that thing. I mean, we found out later it was the servos not releasing but I’m pretty sure if I had driven like I promised myself I was going to, it wouldn’t have broke. I said no more WOT pulls from a dead stop. That lasted a few months before I started doing it again. It’s a hard habit to break, that pedal to the floor thing. Even in reverse sometimes lol. Don’t do that if you’re AWD.

wot is how I have broken several transmissions even without a supercharger, I gave up on having headers those crack/break even more or the bolts come loose and they leak

I've been racing long enough to know that a heavy vehicle with a lot of power tends to break things unless those things are oversized or built for it.

Since I've owned my 2012 (3 years) I have yet to floor it from a dead stop. I have gone wot shortly after getting rolling though.

I like my daily drivers to stay un-broken

Same driving style here. Like to feel the pull.

ya that's why I had the trans re-built heavy duty and 500hp, I was surprised the front diff fluid came out looking like new when I changed it earlier this year that's one of things that gets eaten up from a heavy foot, the rear I did like Mark and put a girdle on it. the transfer case are usually fine even with abuse, the trans shop said it looked fine when they were doing the trans. I am at about 140k the wheel bearings will probably need to be done soon and I should do the u-joints around the same time, probably next year.

Yep my trans was built for 800 hp so it shouldn’t have broke. However I used RTV on the pan gasket which caused the servos to not release. The NVG149 transfer case is known to handle well over 1000. The front and rear diffs are what I expected to break. I installed a girdle on the G80 to keep it from twisting the bearing mounts and causing a bearing failure which is a known failure point besides the diff itself. I figured I’d upgrade to a Detroit locker or similar if it went. The front did break but that was a stupid WOT in reverse in order to catch an a**hole throwing things at my truck as I passed him. The design of how they’re mounted doesn’t hold up to lots of torque in reverse so it twisted the case in two and blew up a CV joint. I also replaced all the u-joints after I blew one of the originals up with Spicers because they’re tough. So I TRY to roll a bit before I floor it but yet…

How else are we to know what we need to upgrade next if we don't test what we have? Some of you anti-WOTers just don't make any sense to me.
Back me up here, @randeez

Yes, I just coined "WOTer".
