What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I thought you meant you spent the MONEY on a computer instead of on parts until I read it again. I was trying to figure wtf kind of computer an AXN 14 bolt is, maybe a gaming one or what.

Shoot, i have been looking to build one for over a year...between the prices and lack of supply, it'll wait til next gen stuff comes out.
But yeah, got the conversion u-joint, yoke straps, and gear oil all on the way.

...so much for cam and valvetrain stuff for black friday...

Now I need to grab a rebuild kit and decide which lockable carrier i want to run, and if i want to bother with 3.73s or not.

But in the mean time, i'll be a little niver to it since ill now have a g80 grenade waiting to go off.

Yeah, we had a few frys local to me. Made my parents take me to build out an "up to date" pc about 15years ago. lol
Now I at least have a micro center near by(30 mi).

not out of business they are still around, I think they did shut some stores down though, there is 1 in milipitas and there were 2 in sacramento but I heard they shut one down, I only end up going there about once every two years anymore. we used to have a traveling computer dealer show that would go all over the place around the local area, one of the Soyo owners was always present wearing tons of gold and rolex watches, total baller giant wads of cash, those were the good ole days I was selling custom built pc's at least 3-5 a week easy money.....then along came Emachine and ruined it for everyone........ they hit market with cheap pc's 1/2 the price of big brand names like hp, dell, compaq, gateway, etc
that knocked the little guy out of the game.

you will have a hard time getting decent video cards right now, the bitcoin miners have them all and buy them as fast they can make them or you will have to pay top dollar for anything you can get your hands on. I have a thousand dollar board and cpu sitting in the garage for the last 6 months because I don't want to spend another 1000 on a video card, when the current pc dies I guess I won't have much choice, don't want to go to windows 10

Yeah, I've been too busy dumping thousands into the hoe to be able to build a computer. And I can actually get most of those graphics cards from the local micro center. But you have to actually go down to their store, they will not sell them online.
And yeah, the prices are anywhere between 1 and 2,000 depending on what you want for one of the most recent cards.

Those E-Machines were junk. All of our PCs since the mid 1990s have been built by me. This machine was built in 2017 and it replaced one that was built in 2005. Still using the same case! Used to build many of our friend's computers and all of our parents' computers until they all went to laptops.

Components and terminology had changed so much I had to teach myself all over again when spec'ing out the new machine.

Anyhow, I quit going to shows and local stores for parts first because of Pricewatch and later because of NewEgg and Amazon.

I’m thankful I have a 2080ti since I cannot get a 3080ti atm because of this. W10 isn’t terrible but if you play anything with direct x 12 or higher it’s required to have w10. Either way this will be the last pc I build I’m sure. Microcenter FTW. Current board is an aurus gaming 7 with an i7 5820 IIRC. Been a while since I said what I had.

the one I have sitting out in the garage is a Asus rog strix x299-e, Core i9-9940x 4.4ghz, evo ssd
I loaded it with 10 and put it away, I have a 1gb video card in it for just loading windows, I really don't like windows 10 which is really why I probably haven't migrated it to being my main computer
