Guys,
Forgive my poor memory.
Looking for suggestions on some fogs to fit my 13 Burb. I have Alla Lighting LED bulbs in them now but the beam pattern is horrible. I think I would like some amber fogs with a good beam pattern.
Ideas?

Can you rotate the bulb? Some have a set screw you loosen to re-clock the bulb since the socket only goes one way.

This. Any of the LED headlight or fog light bulbs that don’t have this feature aren’t worth a damn. They need to be exactly vertical and the holders are different from vehicle to vehicle. They almost always need to be adjusted.

I have these. They light all the way around but the light is flooded all over and not projected as a flat beam down low where you would want to light up the road in snow or fog.

Need opinions on which setup to go with. I’ve got the C-shaped led acting as the drl (also comes on with park lamps). Should I keep the lower bulbs as park and turn or make it like the K2XX Chevy suvs and have them only as turn signals. The side marker light would remain on the park lamp circuit.

The housings are supposed to focus the light, like the reflector housings for headlights do. But you need the right bulbs. I can’t tell which style you have- that brand shows 2 different types in that link. You want the ones that are a flat blade type not the round barrel type. Like this. These are the same brand as yours, and they say the beam is adjustable.

We’ll be at Terlingua Ranch as a base camp just after Christmas.
We're there same time frame. We'll be coming in from Christmas in Dallas with our eldest and her husband.

We're at that new RV park in Terlingua Tuesday after Christmas. I looked into Terlingua Ranch because of the Carroll Shelby backstory but I figured this was going to be foreign enough to the wife that I might want to stay closer to Terlingua.I was there 10 years ago with a buddy on a lengthy road trip through a bunch of forts from the Buffalo War and it was nice and bleak. We had pretty heavily modified Miatas so there was no going down to the canyons. I aim to rectify that on this trip.

From all the stuff going on there now, I'm not sure I'll recognize the place, though. Now they have B&Bs with clear bubbles to sleep in. There went my retirement dream...
