Which radiator do I want for my Denali? I figure OE and have dealer install. They have to change airbag. anyway.
I just replaced the one in my Denali with a Mishimoto. It’s actually easier than changing the oil. Granted my front end was apart, but still…it’s not that difficult. Not worth paying the stealership for.

I often find myself opening the doors for my passengers. While they can think it’s chivalrous or me being a nice guy, they don’t realize it’s because I don’t want my doors slammed.

Many moons ago, a friend of mine pissed off his gf one night and she slammed the door to his Typhoon with the window down. Left him with spidered window held together by window tint. Made me think twice about how hard a door gets shut.
She must've been a beast.

Reminds me of the story my 4 older siblings told me about the time my dad finally agreed to take them kite flying back in the early 70's. My brother had been pestering my dad to take them and when finally agreed and took them out to my uncles pasture, he was so excited that he slammed the back door of the car and since the window was only part way up, it ended up in pieces all across the back seat. My dad was pissed and promptly swept most of the glass off the backseat and onto the floor board and told the 4 of them to get back in the car and took them home.

some of it I feel like newer cars you can slam them without it being a big deal. Lotta engineering into making a door sound solid. the older the car it feels way worse.

but most people cars and just appliances to them. it's like asking why you slammed the door to the dryer.

that and when grown men tag my equipment saying it doesn't turn on, when they mean it doesn't start drives me nuts. but to them the ign switch is just an off and on switch. they don't consider or care at all how an vehicle works.

I wouldn't even have a chance to open the doors for them. As soon as I put it in park and the doors unlock they're already out of the vehicle. I haven't even shut it off yet, and usually still grabbing my glasses or something off the console. Don't know what the hurry is these kids have.

Same. They're animals. When we're old, I'm going to ride in their cars and spill gummi bears on the carpet, leave empty cans and wrappers all over the place, and slam the doors so hard they rattle. :happy175:

Going to install a new front driveshaft. The trainwreck of a previous U-joint replacement and balance of both shafts by a local franchise left me with the welcomed decision to cut my losses and have the Driveshaft Shop build be a new shaft.

I tried to source a new OEM shaft but kept coming up empty, I feel for the long hail this is the better option.

I'll get a side by side pic later. I'm very impressed with the build quality of this.

I went with a NAPA radiator, fairly quick and easy change.

Is your airbag being changed under warranty? If not, and if the steering wheel bag, that's a 5 min swap if you want to DIY.

Takes longer to find the right angle to depress the release than unplugging and reinstalling the bag.
