I don't know why I didn't just zip them off with a carbide blade in the first place. I've been soaking the nuts in PB Blaster multiple times a day all week, and they won't budge. I was about to break out the torch and then my brain went, "hey dummy, cut them in half."
that's why I tell people to just cut the plastic heater hose connectors off when they go to replace them because 1. you are not going to re-use it, 2. they never come off "easy" ever. you will fight those things for half the day when you could have just cut them off and been done in 10 minutes.

What kind of details can you give us on this? How big was the system and how long was it booming for, etc.
I changed the roof on the truck 2 years ago and it was doing pretty good until a few months ago. It’s right about 50,000 watts total

So it wasn't the OE roof?

Hey guys. Hope everyone is doing well in this crazy heat we are having. Got my Yukon back yesterday. Ive done a lot to her since I bought it about a month ago. Mostly stuff that can't be seen. Changed all fluids, front bearings, ball joints, stabilizer bar rods, put 2" Rough Country leveling struts and shocks on the back. Stayed with my 17" rims and added 33" K02s. Before and after. I am very pleased with the handling, ride, and and almost zero road noise even up to 70mph.

Do you know of any other NNBS truck that had failed like that due to a sound system, or just yours?

There have been a few others. The sheetmetal on these trucks rip way too easily. I have ripped well over 10 linear feet of metal in various places
