Now that you have all that retired free time it'll be fixed shortly, right? ;)
It will be taken care of as soon as the part gets here. :D
Although it looks like a little bit of a PIA since it is way up under the dash.
But there are quite a few good YT vids out there on how to do it right.
Even if the Yukon throws an error after I replace it, I can recalibrate the steering angle sensor with my scan tool.

But, it is hilarious that I thought I would have tons of time once I retired.
I have been so busy this week that I am wondering how I ever got anything done when I had to go to work every day.

it's so harsh on everything plastic, inside stuff, the headlights and all. just baking in an oven.

I try to get everything done before 11am. if you see me out of the office after noon something very bad has happened lol. it isn't fit for man or beast out there in that sun.

Just ordered a new steering position sensor, genuine GM.
Mine went out and now the traction control and stabilitrak is erroring out.
Mine was out for a long time. Plugged a new one in but didn’t mechanically install it. It takes care of one error, but not the other. When I finally replaced it properly, I was surprised how quickly it took.

do you have over temp protection for the cats turned off in the tune? cause it really shouldn't matter how hard you drive the car. cat temp and life has to do with heat and their heat is controlled by the a/f. if cats can survive track days and race cars, you really shouldn't be able to hurt them unless you run leaded fuels?

cot you have to turn off while tuning, but if you're going to have them on the car it should be enabled after tuning. lot of tuners don't because they feel it's not needed and most high hp sports cars aren't driven daily and or only a few 1/4mile hits at a time. but they can melt them at their first track day if the tuner left it disabled.

My washer reservoir ran dry yesterday, and today I filled the reservoir with a freshly-opened gallon of juice. That's a pretty mundane thing to post in this thread, huh?

What I learned, though, is that the "dry to brimming" volume is about 4 oz shy of a gallon, so I'm stuck holding onto a not-quite-empty container. Grr...
